This pendant with dendritic opal - also called 'milky opal', is particularly harmonious due to the expressive drawing (matrix) with the inclusions on the right side and the bright white tone of the gemstone. The milky opal is in a round shape with a diameter of 25mm and in a smooth, solid silver frame with a decorative silver rim. The dendritic opal appears framed like a picture - nice to look at. The pendant is a fine piece of jewelry from Indian craftsmanship in 925 sterling silver.

The 'milky opal' belongs to the common opals as well as its varieties dendrite opal, moss opal etc.
The dendritic opal is a milky opal with dendritic inclusions. All dendritic opal gems are characterised by dark, dendritic deposits, some of trees, shrubs, ferns or just a moss (= moss opal) (dendritic, branched, ramified).
These inclusions are mostly iron and/or manganese solutions that have penetrated the stone.
